The 24- Hour Bronchitis
Taking Individual Energy Toxins to the Next Level
Dr. Franzi Ng, Ed.D., TFT-Dx, RCT
My husband and I had been enjoying a couple of warm and sunny summer days that were accentuated by friends, family, BBQs, beach time, and horseback riding - a perfectly relaxing time; however, shortly before we had to embark on a strenuous 6-hour road trip to Vancouver, my husband, Alex, began to cough. He coughed lightly at first, but in no time, he was heaving and sputtering copious amounts of mucous. At times, I feared that he might drown in his own fluids. When I touched his forehead, he was very hot.
We were already half a day late leaving for Vancouver, where I was to teach a Thought Field Therapy Algorithm training the next day. Alex and I both knew that we needed to leave now, despite his condition, if we wanted to make it there on time.
As we passed through a mountain pine forest, a barren desert, a steep river canyon, and a lush valley before arriving in sunny Vancouver, we tapped together continually. I am glad I never had to explain to a police officer what exactly it was we were doing in our car…
Right away, I wanted to find out if any individual energy toxins (IETs) had triggered his sudden and violent illness. Alex and I had been on the outlook for toxins for awhile to help him overcome his snoring and sleep apnoea. I was not surprised when I did not find many substances that tested badly for him. We treated the few with the Seven-Second protocol, however, that did not bring about a noticeable improvement in his condition.
We kept looking for more toxins. Finally, I had the idea to test him for the combination of the foods he had eaten - foods that individually tested okay. Thus, I had him think about last night’s barbequed meat, the roast potatoes, the corn on the cob, and the ice cream together. Lo and behold, the test showed that this combination was toxic to his system! (Seen from a Traditional Chinese Medicine point of view, it made sense: too many heating foods combined with a dramatically cooling food weakened his system.)
Now, finally, the Seven-Second treatment gave Alex a bit of a break from his watery coughs. He was able to rest and recover before the symptoms resumed in full force a few minutes later; however, I was not discouraged by the recurrence, for we had been successful in creating an obvious window, even if it was only for a short period of time, during which my husband felt almost well and at peace. The questions that now pumped through my brain were:
- How can we create more of these cough-free windows?
- How can we make these windows last longer?
It was at this point that I seemed to remember vaguely that when bacteria or viruses invade our bodies, they produce a toxin. Grasping for straws, I asked Alex to think about the “toxin the bug produces.” Dr. Callahan’s Toxin Testing protocol showed that this “bug toxin” was indeed bad for Alex’s energy system. Once we temporarily cleared this toxin with the Seven-Second treatment, Alex was able to rest for over ten minutes, which was a significant improvement!
When the mucus and the coughs eventually returned, we immediately tested the “bug toxin” again and treated it (Seven-Second protocol). We also tested and treated “the bug by itself.” Every time we treated these particular energy toxins, the window of time in which he was free of symptoms became longer and longer. By the time we arrived in Vancouver, Alex’s fever was gone, the mucous had stopped running, and the violent, incessant coughs were not only discrete, but also far and few between.
At the insistence of his mother, Alex did see a physician the next day, who diagnosed him with bronchitis; however, within less than 24 hours of the onset of his illness, Alex was virtually symptom free, enjoying the foods, friends, and attractions of the big city.
Needless to say, we were both very excited to see what, for us, was an unprecedented dramatic improvement to his fragile condition with this simple new twist on the Seven-Second treatment, but would I be able to reproduce this success? Fortunately, since this car trip, I had more opportunities to use this particular treatment variation in the context of erupting cold or flu symptoms. Every time, the improvements were similarly impressive. One ten-year-old boy, for example, came down with heavy cough and flu symptoms. His mother, who was familiar with the Seven-Second treatment and with whom I had shared my discovery, tested and treated her son with Dr. Callahan’s Toxin protocols. Immediately following that brief treatment (less than 2 minutes), the symptoms stopped, the child went back to play, and over the next 24 hours, he had all but one small cough. This was a remarkable recovery for this child, who generally suffers from many allergies.
I would like to encourage my fellow TFT practitioners around the world to experiment with this small but potentially significant discovery and to share their experiences. The beauty of TFT is that we so often get instant feedback to our safe and simple interventions. Let’s find out together how far we can take this promising piece of the puzzle.
Summary of the “24-Hour Bronchitis” Protocol:
1. Using Algorithms or Diagnostics, treat the physical symptoms. For example: use the pain algorithm, “Gamut 50 – Collarbone,” or diagnose specific points as the person thinks about the discomfort her or she experiences. If the person still feels ill…
2. Test all the foods and substances consumed, touched, or inhaled over the past 24 hours using Dr. Callahan’s Toxin Testing Protocol. Test:
- Individual foods (e.g., the wheat, the tomato, the garlic, each substance by itself).
- Components of foods (break up the cup of coffee by individually testing: the coffee, the sugar, the cream, the water, the Styrofoam cup, and so forth).
- Food combinations (the synergy between different foods, e.g., the pizza, the salad, and the cheese cake together).
- Layers of toxins. Some toxins do not show up until the overarching toxin was successfully identified and eliminated. Consequently, it is at times important to retest individual energy toxins that initially tested okay.
3. Temporarily eliminate the negative effect of all identified toxic substances using Dr. Callahan’s Seven-Second protocol. If the person still feels ill…
4. Test (with the Toxin Testing Protocol) and treat the client when appropriate (with the Seven-Second protocol) for statements such as:
- The toxin the bug produces
- The bug by itself
- For more specific results you can replace bug with “bacteria,” “virus,” “fungus,” “parasite,” or even the specific name of the organism if that information is available.
As the bug and the toxins mutate in the body, you will have to go through the Toxin Protocols again and again. If the symptoms reoccur or persist, always retest the bug’s toxin, as well as any other substances to which the person has recently been exposed.
